Pheromones

Pheromones are chemical substances that insects create and spread through the air. These pheromones are received by other insects from the same species. Sexual confusion pheromones are the most used for detection, tracking and biological control of plagues.

MODE OF ACTION

Agrobio’s pheromones are made of a synthetic compound, causing the same reaction than natural pheromones. The pheromones are placed in the traps (delta, flies and moths traps) and spreaded slowly thanks to a diffuser, trapping the male and avoiding the reproduction.

HANDLING ADVICES

Advices for a proper handling:

• Do not touch the attractant capsule without gloves.
• It is recommended to wash your hands before using the capsule to avoid smell mixing.
• Do not place multiple capsules in the same trap.
• Keep at 10 – 15ºC
