Agrobío steps onto the Madrid Fusión Dreams 2026 stage

Agrobío at Madrid Fusion Dreams 2026

On January 27, 2026, Agrobío took part in a vibrant conversation at Madrid Fusión, on the DREAMS stage, an immersive space designed to spark reflection and connect people who imagine the future of food and gastronomy through science and foodtech. It was a striking setting, very different from traditional auditoriums. Warm lighting, closeness to the audience, and a theatre‑like atmosphere created the perfect environment to explore ideas born to transform the world.

A stage for innovation: Madrid Fusión Dreams 2026

The roundtable, titled “The evolution of innovative ecosystems. What if Spain had the key closer than it seems?”, brought together professionals who represent the talent and innovation of southern Spain. The speakers were Juan Carlos Gázquez Garrido (Cajamar Innova), who moderated the session; Juan José Vázquez (Business Director at Coexphal); and Enric Vila (R&D Director at Agrobío).

The audience included chefs, food journalists, producers, culinary students, and people passionate about innovation. With them, we shared a common idea: the future of sustainable food depends on integrating knowledge, nature, and bold business vision. As the discussion evolved, the space became a small laboratory of ideas.

A vision for the future of food

During the session, we spoke about the Almería model, a real example of how a region can build an innovative ecosystem centered on cooperation and sustainability. This success comes from valuing what is essential: the daily work of the people who make Spanish agriculture a global reference.

For Agrobío, participating in Madrid Fusión Dreams 2026 meant much more than attending an event. It reminded us that innovation is not measured only through technology. It also emerges from the ability to inspire, connect, transform, and communicate. Therefore, the key to a more balanced future is, indeed, much closer than it appears.
